Golf Caddie Japan is operated by CurioGolf Inc. (株式会社CurioGolf), a Tokyo-based company run by local golf and travel-marketing professionals who play these courses ourselves. We started this service after watching one too many visitors give up on golfing here — not because the courses weren't worth it, but because the reservation systems require the user to speak Japanese.
What we do is simple: you tell us when and where you want to play, and we make it happen — the phone calls, the reservation, club rentals, caddies. You get everything confirmed in plain English, plus a written English guide sheet (PDF) so nothing about the day (check-in, the lunch break, the onsen, payment) catches you off guard.

Enjoying the golf experience in Japan was on our to-do list when we traveled to Japan. However due to a fluid schedule we were unable to book in advance. You guys made it extremely easy to get in a round on our holiday. The course you booked for us "Narashino Country Club" was in immaculate condition, the lunch provided was delicious and the hire clubs were great. Although communication with the friendly course staff was a little difficult, having everything booked and sorted by you made it so much easier.
How we charge
Requesting a tee time is free. Our service fee is ¥6,000 (about US$40) per player per round, or ¥8,000 per round for a solo booking of one player (for enquiries received on or after 1 November 2026) — covering the reservation, rentals or caddie arrangement, and your written English day-of-play guide (PDF). When we confirm availability, you get the course's own green fee and our fee itemized in writing before you commit to anything. No hidden charges, and no markup on green fees.
On request we can also arrange extras that are quoted separately before you commit: a rental set we deliver to the course when the course can't supply one, a premium set of recent-model clubs, or someone to play with you — a local golfer who speaks English (English ability varies from person to person), or a golf teaching professional. These depend on availability on your date, and the quote shows what is included and the cancellation terms.
