Mishima Country Club opened on 17 June 1988 in Tokura, Mishima, south-east of Mt. Fuji. The club describes views of the mountain and of Suruga Bay. It is operated by Accordia Golf.
The layout was designed by Mitsuo Yoshizaki. It measures 6,730 yards from the back tees at par 72, with 6,215 from the regulars. The club calls the ground hilly but the routing comparatively flat; the par 3s carry over a pond and a valley, and each hole has a single bentgrass green, so the short game tends to decide the score. Play is self-play in riding carts, and fairway driving is offered for a fee when the ground allows.
For a visitor without a car this is one of the easier courses near Fuji to reach. Mishima is a Tokaido Shinkansen stop, and the club bus runs from the north exit three times each morning without a booking. After the round there is a natural hot-spring bath with an outdoor tub, and the restaurant serves from 7:30. The range is small — seven bays to 175 yards, irons up to a 5-iron for men. Rental clubs are available; rental shoes are not.
Rates change by date, by plan and by the number of players. The figures on this page are examples we checked in October 2026 for early-November dates, not a quote. We confirm the final rate for your date with you before the tee time is booked.
Getting there
The club bus leaves from stop No. 3 at the north exit of Mishima station at 8:05, 8:45 and 9:35 every day, with no reservation; the ride is about fifteen minutes and the last bus back leaves the club at 17:00. A taxi from the station takes fifteen to twenty minutes. By car it is about 8 km from Nagaizumi-Numazu IC on the Shin-Tomei Expressway, or about 12 km from Susono IC on the Tomei.
Nearest station: Mishima (Tokaido Shinkansen) — about 15 min by club bus or taxi. We include precise written directions (English and Japanese) with every confirmed booking. If you prefer a private car, we can introduce a partner hire-car provider; please confirm golf-bag space and book transport directly with the provider.
Visitor FAQ
Can overseas visitors play Mishima Country Club?+
Yes. The club accepts overseas visitors and bookings made on a visitor's behalf. Reservations are taken in Japanese, which is the part we handle. We check your date with the club as part of the booking; if we cannot secure it, our fee is refunded in full.
Can I play on my own?+
Yes. The club accepts single players and places them into a group with other golfers. On the dates we checked in October 2026, single-player slots were listed on a weekday and on a public holiday, but availability changes day by day, so tell us early that you are travelling alone.
How do I get there from Mishima station?+
The club bus leaves stop No. 3 at the north exit at 8:05, 8:45 and 9:35. It needs no reservation but holds 25 people, so if it is full you take a taxi at your own cost — about fifteen to twenty minutes and roughly ¥2,500 to ¥3,000. Buses back to the station leave the club at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00.
What does a round cost?+
As an example, the online rate we checked in October 2026 for Wednesday 4 November was ¥9,990 with three players and ¥10,490 for a single-player slot, and ¥15,990 to ¥16,990 for the 3 November public holiday, each with a lunch subsidy. Rates move by date and plan, so we quote your date before you pay. A locker costs ¥495 extra.
Is there a bath, and can I rent clubs?+
There is a natural hot-spring bath with an outdoor tub (not available after an afternoon-only or nine-hole round). Rental clubs cost ¥4,400; the club does not rent shoes, so bring soft-spike or spikeless shoes.
